We’re Back!

Covid has been tough and Robot U has been, for the most part, dormant. Not anymore. Robot U has been a partner with both the Snohomish and the Greater Seattle branches of the YMCA for years, starting with our first camp with the Monroe Y back in 2013. Since then, we quickly established ourselves as one of the most popular programs they could offer, second only to swim camp. This year Seattle is re-starting their outside vendor programs and we will be at Northshore, Dale Turner, Sammamish, and Auburn branches. We’re sure that next year Snohomish will be offering our camps also (fingers crossed).

Also this summer we will be holding multiple camps with Si View Community Center in North Bend. While this year the Y has decided to just do robotics, Si View has opted for a full-day STEM camp that offers a different STEM activity each day. Scratch game design, Sphero robotic balls, Minecraft, Power Functions remote-controlled contraptions, and an instructor’s choice.

This past week, Robot U held an all day STEM Camp at the North Bend Train Depot. It was a lot of fun and parents were asking about our summer camps and classes. Well, registration opens April 7th for our Si View camps and we’ll be at several Seattle Y’s through the summer.
