DESCRIPTION:Build it. Code it. Command it. This winter\, Robot U is bringing a high-energy\, 8-week engineering series to your school! We’ve fused the mechanical wonder of Junior Robotics with the advanced logic of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® to give students a front-row seat to the future of technology. \n\n\n\nThe Experience: \n\n\n\n\nThe Build: Students start by mastering mechanical foundations—exploring how gears\, axles\, and levers create power and movement.\n\n\n\nThe Brain: As we progress\, we introduce the “digital spark.” Using MINDSTORMS technology\, students will program their creations to react to the world using ultrasonic\, color\, and touch sensors.\n\n\n\nThe Challenge: From autonomous navigators to mechanical beasts\, every week presents a new problem to solve.\n\n\n\n\nThe Educational Edge: While the kids are having a blast\, they are secretly mastering the “Big Three” of STEM: Kinetic Physics\, Computational Logic\, and Iterative Design. We don’t just teach kids how to follow instructions; we teach them how to innovate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSession Details\n\n\n\nTo Join: Registration and tuition are handled directly through the Si View Community Center portal. \n\n\n\nSchedule: 8-Week Winter Series \n\n\n\nAges: Elementary (Curriculum is tiered for age-appropriate levels) \n\n\n\nRegistration: This program is offered in partnership with Si View Community Center.
