DESCRIPTION:A PNO the Robot U Way! Players\, 9 and up (due to Quest Headset sizing)\, get to battle creepers\, swing through virtual jungles\, and operate prismatic robotic balls! They will find themselves transported to the virtual worlds of Minecraft and the arenas of Gorilla Tag — all inside a supervised\, walled-off environment built for safe cooporative play broken up with a good dose of real world programming\, experimentation\, and driving our Sphero Bolts. (Three hours straight of VR is a bit much 🙂 ) They’ll be having so much fun they won’t even realize they’re learning the fundumentals of teamwork\, engineering\, and programming. Oh\, and good luck pulling them away at the end of the night. 😉 \n\n\n\nThere’s popcorn. There’s lemonade. There’s structure.

DESCRIPTION:Instructors at Camp\n\n\n\n🤖 LEGO Robotics Camp \n\n\n\nA hands-on\, 15-hour camp where young builders bring incredible working\, sensing\, and moving ROBOTS to life! \n\n\n\n✨ What Campers Will Do\n\n\n\n\nBuild & Create: Spend 15 hours building a huge variety of robots\, from snakes and puppies to elephants and tanks\, or design their own unique creations.\n\n\n\nExplore: Choose from 100+ plans ranging from simple to super challenging. Campers can change their project difficulty at any time to match their comfort level.\n\n\n\nCompete: Opportunities to compete with other robots in head to head competitions as a means to learn teamwork and design iteration. \n\n\n\nLearn: Our instructors are always on hand to help and teach fundamental robotics concepts.\n\n\n\n\n🎯 Key Details\n\n\n\n\nAges: All elementary ages are welcome.\n\n\n\nEquipment: We use LEGO Education robotic sets\, laptops and tablets\n\n\n\n\n🚀 Robot U’s STEM Fusion: Sphero\, RC\, & VR Adventure \n\n\n\nEach day is a new adventure! This rotating STEM Camp offers a variety of technologies\, ensuring campers never get bored and always have something new to explore. \n\n\n\n🌟 Daily Adventures Included\n\n\n\nActivityDescriptionMaterialsSphero Bolts!Program a robotic prismatic ball. Campers will practice coding fundamentals and compete in games to sharpen their driving skills.Incredible Sphero Bolts and tabletsLEGO Power Functions!Two days of “LEGO RC Garage.” Build incredible remote-controlled (RC) contraptions from plans or create brand-new designs. Explore\, amaze\, and compete!LEGO Technic kits with motors and remote controlsMeta Quest VR Minecraft with a side of Gorilla Tag!Two days of playing together inside a Virtual Reality World on our private local server. Campers will explore three separate Minecraft arenas of play: Mini Games – Hide and Seek\, Spleef\, Capture the Flag Creative Protected Building – Claim an area\, Learn Redstone mechanics\, Build something incredible! Survival – Forage\, Mine\, Build\, Form Teams…Survive!Campers will take a break each day from Minecraft to release their inner monkeys to go crazy playing a very physical game of Gorilla Tag! May the best gorilla WIN!!!Meta Quest headsets and supporting materials. Smaller campers may need to be put on laptops or laptops due to sizing of headsets. Lemonade and popcorn break included.
